ABC COMPANY GRADUATE PROGRAM

WHAT IS THE ABC GRADUATE PROGRAM?
The ABC Graduate Program (ABC GP) has been encouraging the international development of future leaders and the promotion of excellence since 1922.The program is designed to accelerate your career by giving you concentrated experience to prepare for a leadership career. As a graduate student, you will have the opportunity to join one of the various ABC businesses in a leadership role. With this program, you will have the ability to rise to the top of your profession.

This two-year rotational program offers three challenging eight-month assignments, including one assignment abroad. As a participant, you’ll rotate through at least two different functions such as Engineering, Project Management or Strategic Marketing. It is an excellent opportunity to participate in international and interdisciplinary project teams, and establish a global network that will be available throughout your career.

Participants will receive mentoring from ABC’s team of innovators, gain access to and network with ABC Company’s senior-decision makers and key leaders, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving global challenges. You will also benefit from a comprehensive training program, including both management training and function-specific seminars, which will position you well for a rewarding future.

WE OFFER TWO PROGRAM TACKS:

  • Early-Career Track for MS or PhD students with one to three years of relevant business or internship experience
  • Mid-Career Track for MBA students with two to five years of relevant business experience

The program is a full-time position with benefits and is designed to create a sustainable career path with ABC Company.

To apply for the ABC Company Graduate Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: MBA or Masters Degree/PhD in an Engineering or technology-related discipline such as Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum GPA: 3.5
  • Graduation Date: Must graduate by the program start date, but no more than six months prior
  • Relevant Work Experience: One to three years business experience (early-career track). Two to five years business experience (mid-career track)
  • International Experience: At least three consecutive months studying, working or living abroad within the last ten years
  • Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required.
  • Relocation and Travel: Must be able to relocate and travel as required by program

  • Healthcare Sector
  • Early Career Position (Diagnostics Division, first rotation targeted for Tarrytown, NY): Seeking MS students (Supply Chain Management or Logistics focus preferred) who are looking for a career in Supply Chain Management; preferred BS in Electrical/Biomedical/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with a strong engineering background, experience in Six Sigma and statistical analysis, strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a focus and interest in operations and continuous improvement are preferred.
  • Energy Sector
  • Early Career Position (Gas Turbine Engineering, first rotation targeted for Orlando, FL): Seeking Ph.D. or M.S./M.Tech/M.E. candidates with strong academic performance in gas turbine and turbomachinery-related fields. Multi-lingual candidates, manufacturing process knowledge, and special certifications (such as Six Sigma or Project Management) are preferred.

Current Mid-Career Track Position Availability (additional positions are pending approval):

    • Mid-Career Position (Customer Solutions Division, first rotation targeted for Malvern, PA): Seeking MBA candidates who are looking for a career in General Management; preferred BA/BS in Economics. Multi-lingual candidates with strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in customer focused roles are preferred.
    • Mid-Career Position (Customer Solutions Division, first rotation targeted for Malvern, PA): Seeking MBA candidates with a technical background who are looking for a career in General Management; preferred BS in Electrical/Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering, IT or Physics. Multi-lingual candidates with a technical background, strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in customer focused roles are preferred.
