The Wharton media and entertainment community is an enthusiastic and passionate group of students interested in pursuing a wide range of careers in the industry – from film and television to media financing and sports. They are excited to network and build relationships in the industry, and can bring a strong strategic skill set and industry knowledge to your firm.
Meet the M&E Club
The Media and Entertainment Club sponsors events that provide excellent networking opportunities for potential employers. Opportunities to get involved include panel discussions, small group dinners, and industry trend presentations.
The Wharton Sports Business Club helps to cultivate interest and knowledge of the sports industry, as well as explore sports careers for MBAs in the field.
Participate in the MBA M&E Conference
This joint conference hosted by several top MBA schools is another great opportunity for networking with Wharton students. Each year hundreds of students gather to explore the future of media, hear from influential keynotes, and engage with panelists. The conference is hosted annually in NYC during the spring semester.
Host M&E Treks
Each year our students organize corporate visits to Los Angeles in January and New York City in November, their top two location preferences for careers in media. Treks are a great opportunity to share your story and network. Many Wharton MBAs interested in M&E careers find the treks to be the most rewarding and helpful recruiting experiences.
