How to Hire

Establish Credibility

  • Engage alumni at your organization in campus events
  • Partner with student club leaders for career treks, conferences, and more
  • Leverage campus ambassadors – students who worked at your organization pre-MBA or as summer interns

Remain Top of Mind

  • Attend a networking event or hold an Employer Information Session
  • Meet with students one-on-one for Coffee Chats
  • Utilize our On-Campus Recruiting Suite for interviews
  • Participate in career treks: student-managed visits to companies in the U.S. and internationally for the purposes of education and networking
  • Promote career opportunities through job postings on CareerPath and in student communications
    • It is always free to post on the Wharton CareerPath Job Board

Communicate Clearly

  • At events, discuss roles for MBAs at your company, from a current and historical perspective. Students are most interested in knowing how they can use their skills to contribute to your organization and how they can develop a career at the company.
  • During the interview process, maintain a clear and prompt flow of information to students before, during and after the interviews. Include information about interview timing, expectations, and your decision-making process.
