The technology industry is quickly growing at Wharton, and in recent years has become one of the largest industries at the school, with our full-time placement rate at 15%, and our internship placement rate has risen to close to 20%. Wharton MBA graduates and interns have pursued careers throughout the technology industry, working in product management, business development, business operations, and more at leading internet service providers, established software companies and late-staged start-ups.
FinTech is a sector that’s been of continuous and increasing interest among Wharton MBA students, and many have brought their in-depth understanding of the various FinTech sub-sectors to companies such as Robinhood, Chime, PayPal, and more.
Host Tech Treks
Student clubs often organize corporate visits to the Bay Area and New York City, their top two location preferences for careers in tech. Treks are a great opportunity to share your story and network with Wharton MBA students.
Semester in San Francisco
The Wharton School provides the opportunity for a select group of MBA students to spend the fall semester of their second year taking classes in San Francisco. This program combines classroom instruction with extracurricular activities and exposure to the Bay Area economy to create a cohesive educational experience. Get involved by coming to campus to participate in our Regional Seminar, which invites execs into the classroom, or host students on career trek at your company.
